“Verily, Allah has pardoned

Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace be upon him, said, “Verily, Allah has pardoned my nation for thoughts that occur in their minds as long as they do not act upon them or speak about them.” Qatadah said, “If a person divorces his wife in his mind, then it amounts to nothing.”

[Sahih Bukhari, Book 63, Number 194]

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَجَاوَزَ عَنْ أُمَّتِي مَا حَدَّثَتْ بِهِ أَنْفُسَهَا مَا لَمْ تَعْمَلْ أَوْ تَتَكَلَّمْ قَالَ قَتَادَةُ إِذَا طَلَّقَ فِي نَفْسِهِ فَلَيْسَ بِشَيْءٍ
